Hi there. Life is incredibly fun and busy at the moment, but tonight seemed like as good an opportunity as any other to share this little gem of a video with you all. Bro. David Porterfield was responsible for video and photography at our wedding, and was nice enough to leave us with this amusing sound check.
It's just that we are busy with working and living and ecclesial stuff and traveling (to California and soon to New Jersey) and being sick and CYC and settling in to our cozy apartment here in Virginia Beach. Speaking of which, if any of you are passing our way, let us know -- we got a two bedroom place just for the purpose of practicing the spiritual gift of hospitality. And how can we practice if no one will come stay with us? So, there, the invitation is open.
Other than that, VERY thankful for God's goodness and His grace which those who are looking will always see.
He likes chick flicks! He actually suggested that we watch "Pride and Prejudice," the BBC version which is 6 full hours of thick plot with no action and a lot of Edwardian English. Tell me ladies, is this not impressive? And he also likes "Little Women". Yes, my boy is a keeper of the most sensitive kind. Men out there, take note -- whatever the current thinking is amongst men as to aforementioned chick flicks, or whatever aversion there is to sentimentality, or whatever masculine resistance there may be, showing your sensitive side is so adorably lovable that you might just try it.
